This caramel dip is easy to apply, sticks to the apples, and doesn't get grainy. The bulk size of the cans will keep your concession stand or bakery in great supply for all of your sweet treats. When used with a food warmer that fits #10 cans, such as the 6 qt. Avantco W300 countertop warmers, there's less mess and you'll be able to save time cleaning up!
Instructions:
To use with your 6 qt. Avantco W300 countertop warmer, first take the lid and wrapper off of the can, and place the can in the warmer. Fill halfway up the can with water. Set the temperature setting to 12, and wait 1-2 hours until you reach ideal dipping temperature (around 175 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit). Dip apples and allow time to cool.

We make our own caramel to use in turtles and salted caramels. However, we use this to make caramel apples with. It's surprisingly tasty caramel...and perfect for the apples.

Makes great caramel apples. Customers love the product. Only downside is that it takes about 2 hours to fully melt in order to dip the apples.

Love the taste of the caramel. You need to research the correct warmer for this. The one i got on here was not the best, i had to warm it hours before i needed it and it laid the caramel on quite thick. Do your reasearch and find the right warmer or youll waste product like i did. Would buy again!

Ordered this for a caramel apple bar at a catering event. The dip took excessively long to melt, more than stated in the instructions. This caused issues with timing and serving, though the taste was good.

We use this caramel to make our jumbo gourmet caramel apples. I recommend watching the video and using the Avantco 300 soup warmer. If I crank it up it takes right around 2 hours to melt the caramel. Be careful heating with the lid because the condensation will water down your caramel. I usually cover the caramel with foil. This caramel is very thick and spinning to get the excess off will cramp your fingers if you’re making jumbo apples. I usually spin and use an offset spatula to scrape excess caramel off the bottom. Set your apples on a silpat mat to make it easier to remove. Our customers love these apples and I can’t keep up with the demand.
