Frequently AskedQuestions
Ice can get clogged or crack if it's too cold or frozen too quickly. If the ice is too cold, it can cause moisture to freeze and jam the machine. Additionally, ice blocks that are frozen too quickly may develop hairline cracks that compromise their integrity.
For better ice, first, boil the water to remove any excess gases, then let it cool slightly. Next, pour warm water into the mold without the lid. Avoid freezing at the coldest temperature; a slower freeze is best. Before using the ice, temper it to room temperature for at least 20 minutes.
